The whole Daniel Clan is going back to school. Megan started 6th grade and Katlin is now in the 4th grade. The girls were very excited about going back this year. They were anxoius to find out which teacher they got and also to see all their long lost friends. We are happy to report that the girls like their teachers and are , so far, enjoying school. The only unfortunate event is that Megan fell skating and has broken her wrist. She has a bright pink cast. She has not let this ruin her first week of school. You better hurry if you want to sign it, cuz space is limited.
Ronnie and I also experienced our "first" day of school in quite some time. We have successfully moved to Fort Worth for the semester to start graduate school in Nurse Anesthesia. We have prepared extensively for this and are both very nervous/excited about it. Our class and study schedule are proving already to be challenging. We are able to help one another and at the very least are able to sympathize with each other. The Texas Wesleyan campus is very pretty and historic feeling. The surrounding neighborhood is less than to be desired. On our first run around the campus, all we heard were passing cars and whistles . (I told Ronnie to wear longer running shorts). Our living conditions are, lets just say, different. The word of the week has been CRAM. Not only will we be cramming for school, but we are literally crammed into a tiny apartment. It should be very interesting to see how this all turns out. We are very lucky in that our tiny little apartment is right across the street from the anesthesia building where we spend all our time. It is a bitter-sweet feeling. We love being here to further our careers but we miss our family terribly. This semester will pass fast, we hope, and we will look back on this experience as a great opportunity. We want to thank all of our family and friends for all the support and advice that you have offered us. We would never be here if it hadn't been for them. We love you.
