Memaw

I am sad to announce that we lost my grandmother this year on October 7th just 3 months after losing my grandfather. My memaw was a wonderful woman. She was the best cook in the world and was known for her famous homemade rolls. Our family has been through a lot this summer with losing both of these amazing people that were so important in our lives. We are all saddened to not have them here with us but are comforted knowing that they are together in heaven. They both lived long, prosperous lives and will never be forgotten.

Pumpkin Time

We are doing well , studying hard and all the time! We broke away for a fun day in the park with the girls. We decorated pumpkins instead of carving them. We all had a great time.

Emma

For those of you who do not know, I have a child by the name of Emma. She has big brown eyes, soft velvety floppy ears, and horrible breath. She had to stay in Arkansas while we came to school and it's killing me to not have her with me. She'll be 8 in October. The last night we were in Arkansas, she could sense something was about to change. She crawled up in my lap and just had me hold her. She doesn't usually volunteer that. I miss her more than words can say. Here are a few pictures so that everyone can see why I miss her so much.

School is in full swing

This month has already gone by so fast. We are all very busy with school work and trying to keep our head above water. Ronnie's parents brought the girls down to visit last weekend and we all had a blast. We all stayed in our tiny little room which left no open floor space, it was cozy. We all made due and had a great time . We went to a huge wax museum, mirror maze, and Ripley's Believe It or Not. After, we went to a fun place to eat...Magic Time Machine. All the waiters are dressed as some character and really make your time there fun and unexpected. The girls absolutley loved it and can't wait to go back.

Back to School

The whole Daniel Clan is going back to school. Megan started 6th grade and Katlin is now in the 4th grade. The girls were very excited about going back this year. They were anxoius to find out which teacher they got and also to see all their long lost friends. We are happy to report that the girls like their teachers and are , so far, enjoying school. The only unfortunate event is that Megan fell skating and has broken her wrist. She has a bright pink cast. She has not let this ruin her first week of school. You better hurry if you want to sign it, cuz space is limited.

Ronnie and I also experienced our "first" day of school in quite some time. We have successfully moved to Fort Worth for the semester to start graduate school in Nurse Anesthesia. We have prepared extensively for this and are both very nervous/excited about it. Our class and study schedule are proving already to be challenging. We are able to help one another and at the very least are able to sympathize with each other. The Texas Wesleyan campus is very pretty and historic feeling. The surrounding neighborhood is less than to be desired. On our first run around the campus, all we heard were passing cars and whistles . (I told Ronnie to wear longer running shorts). Our living conditions are, lets just say, different. The word of the week has been CRAM. Not only will we be cramming for school, but we are literally crammed into a tiny apartment. It should be very interesting to see how this all turns out. We are very lucky in that our tiny little apartment is right across the street from the anesthesia building where we spend all our time. It is a bitter-sweet feeling. We love being here to further our careers but we miss our family terribly. This semester will pass fast, we hope, and we will look back on this experience as a great opportunity. We want to thank all of our family and friends for all the support and advice that you have offered us. We would never be here if it hadn't been for them. We love you.

The last two years....

Most of you know by now...Lindsay and I are going back to school this fall. The last two years have been incredible. We have been very busy getting prepared to finish our education. But we have had the most amazing time as well. It would take too long to list all the things we have done and all the fun we have had. I made a video from the last two years worth of memories. It's set to a song that is very fitting. Megan, Katlin, and I are very lucky to have Lindsay in our family and we love her very much. I think this video sums up the last 24 or so months...but it doesn't come close to showing all that I would have liked for you to see. The file is large and may take a few minutes to load...Ronnie

Bebop

My dear grandfather ( better known as Bebop) passed away this year. He was by far the sweetest most loved man I ever knew. He is missed very deeply by us all. He had a wonderful life and influenced countless people. My mom was the best daughter to him he could have ever wished for. He is healthy and happy waiting in heaven. Love you Mom.
